Silver and Gold - Silver is narrowly outperforming Gold

Our view – We had indicated our preference for Silver earlier this year – Wrt precious metals, due to the further uncertainty over global tensions, could make these metals move higher.

• The RBI delivered a surprisingly large 50 bps cut in interest rates that helped markets move higher on Friday.

• The Indian 10-year bond yield has moved down to 6.23% odd.

• Short-term momentum is strong for markets to move higher, and negative triggers continue to be the escalation of geopolitical issues due to Trump's tantrums.

• If Holding Gold or Silver, pl continue as the next few years we feel the move will be binary – either it’ll double or else it’ll move back 60k-70k levels over the next 12-24 months and unlikely to stay at these levels (Remains for us a hedge and allocation suggestion of a max of 5% of ones’s financial portfolio). Irrespective, DO NOT buy Gold as a linear investment avenue or product. Look out for our products mail throughout the week, where we will talk about a Gold Structured Product (with a lower minimum commitment)

• As of now, we continue to have the same positioning of being cautious for equity-heavy investors for now; however, as we see a time correction, our buy/ sell/ hold levels will gradually move upwards as we approach the next quarterly results next month.
